⚠️ 1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Caustic AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. It's that simple. No loopholes, no excuses.

2. Nature of Service

Caustic AI is an AI-powered accountability and performance coaching tool. You acknowledge that:

  Persona: The AI uses a "brutally honest" or "caustic" persona for motivational purposes. This is a stylistic choice designed to cut through excuses and deliver unfiltered accountability. It is not intended as actual harassment or abuse. If you can't handle directness, this isn't the tool for you.

  No Professional Advice: The AI provides general suggestions and accountability checks. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. If you need therapy, hire a therapist. If you need legal help, hire a lawyer. Caustic AI is here to keep you accountable, not hold your hand.

  AI Limitations: While we strive for "earned arrogance," AI can make mistakes or "hallucinate" information. Use all AI-generated advice at your own risk. Don't blame us if the AI tells you something stupid and you actually listen.

3. Subscription and Payments

Payments are processed via Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing to a Pro Plan (Masochist Tier):

  You agree to provide valid payment information. No fake cards, no expired nonsense.

  Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled via your dashboard or Lemon Squeezy's customer portal. Don't forget to cancel if you quit (which we know you will).

  Refunds: Due to the high cost of GPU/AI processing (yes, AI tokens are expensive), refunds are generally not provided unless required by law or in cases of documented technical failure on our end. "I changed my mind" is not a valid reason. Commit or don't subscribe.

4. User Conduct & "Proof of Work"

  Accuracy: You are responsible for the accuracy of any data or images you upload. Lie to the AI if you want, but you're only lying to yourself.

  Prohibited Content: You may not upload images or text that are illegal, sexually explicit, promote self-harm, infringe on third-party intellectual property, or otherwise violate common sense and decency. Do this and you'll be banned faster than you can say "accountability."

  Accountability: The "Proof of Work" feature (image analysis) is a core part of the Pro experience. Failure to provide requested proof may limit your progress within the app's logic. The AI doesn't reward excuses.

5. AI Limitations & Liability

In Plain English: If you follow the AI's advice and things go south, that's on you. We're not responsible for your decisions. The AI is here to provide accountability and motivation, not to be your personal life coach with a liability insurance policy.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or refund, if you violate these terms or use the Service in a way that risks the safety, integrity, or availability of the platform. This includes (but is not limited to):

• ✗Uploading prohibited content
• ✗Attempting to hack, reverse engineer, or abuse the AI
• ✗Violating intellectual property rights
• ✗Being a general nuisance to the community or system

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Don't like it? See Section 1 about the door.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service is operated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
